Dr. Hui is a pioneer in integrative medicine. For the past forty years, he has dedicated himself to helping patients with the most difficult chronic medical problems. He has an insatiable passion for learning, always trying to acquire the most innovative techniques and modalities to expand his “toolbox”. As a complement to conventional methods of treatment, he uses naturopathic and traditional Chinese medicine (acupuncture, supplements and herbal medicine), joint manipulation and intravenous therapies such as chelation therapy, vitamin and nutrient therapy, nutraceutical therapy and hyperbaric ozone therapy.
Dr. Hui completed his Medical Degree at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in 1979. He has studied traditional Chinese medicine at the Beijing Hospital and has completed advance certifications in orthopedic medicine and chelation therapy from the British Orthopedic Society and American Board of Chelation Therapy, respectively.
Dr. Hui is a past President and examiner for the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and has been a lecturer for the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine program at Georgian College . He has been an oral examiner for the Medical Council of Canada, the Canadian licensing body for physicians.
Dr. Hui has been a syndicated medical columnist for the Toronto Star and the host of a medical talk show for AM530. He is an avid meditation practitioner.
